As a non-profit, all volunteer community Zen center, AZC depends on individual donations for nearly all of its projects. Here is a list of recent and current projects:
- Jodo Training Ground (current)
- Completed Projects 2018-19: Meditation Tholus/Front Zen Garden Fence/Zendo Exterior Painting/Refreshed Website/New Online Library Catalog/Additional Programs like Forest Bathing/Introduction of Teachers from other Sanghas
Jodo Training Grounds
The Jodo Training Grounds is located in the southwest corner of the AZC property. It will be about 25' x 30' in size and covered with crushed gravel to match the overall landscaping of the grounds. It will be also covered with a type of material to provide shade and be a multi-use area with seating for approximately 10 people.
Tholus
The outdoor meditation tholus was completed and dedicated in November 2018. Thank you to all our donors and Sangha members who generously donated financial resources, along with their time and labor to realize this important project.
