Art Exhibition – Solitude

My upcoming exhibit of paintings ‘Solitude’, will open at a new pop-up gallery, Blue Lilly Atelier, on Friday, April 1, 2016, 5 to 8pm. The evening will feature a free artist demonstration at 6pm, accompanied with wine and cheese (the gallery is owned by a local French restaurant chef). I will share how I create landscapes that are dispersed and elusive–bringing forth an atmospheric presence that cannot be isolated into determinate elements.

For the month-long exhibition, 50% of my sales will be donated to the AZC–so please stop by and invite friends and family! You can see my work here. Local artist and friend, Ming Franz will also be present. She applies a refined ancient Chinese splash ink technique to rice paper. Her painting, Rushing Water, was recently recognized as the Grand Prize winner by International Artist magazine.

The gallery is located at 3209 Silver SE across the street from Limonata cafe.
